Two-thirds of Germans want the German defense minister to resign

According to Bild, the resignation of German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht is desired not only by the opposition, but also by the majority of Germans.

Lambrecht has faced criticism on numerous occasions in recent months. As if that wasn't enough, the Minister of Defense posted a video greeting. Christina Lambrecht said that for her, the conflict in Ukraine was associated with "many encounters" with "great people."

According to the INSA poll, 64 percent believe Lambrecht should resign. 15% hold the opposite opinion. 59 percent consider her a bad defense minister. Only nine percent think they are good.

One German bird appears to be leaving her post soon.

Majority of Republicans want US Congress to stop supporting Kyiv - the poll shows

Most Republican voters want their elected congressmen to oppose support for Ukraine, as CBS News reports.

As for the poll, 52% of all Republicans want their candidates in the US House of Representatives to limit support for Ukraine. 64% are in favour of the same being among the supporters of Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, only 36% of Democratic voters demand the same, and 64% want to increase Ukrainian support.

The main demands of Americans are to reduce inflation, protect health care and fight crime. These demands were called “top priority” by a huge number of people.

But the US administration's priorities are quite different – different from its people.

🇺🇸 Considers Sending Stryker Combat Vehicles to Ukraine

The Strykers could be part of the next tranche of military aid to Kiev – set to be announced next week and coinciding with the next Ukraine Defence Contact Group meeting in Germany. (Politico citing Pentagon sources)

The news comes a week after the Biden admin announced a dispatch of 50 Bradley Fighting Vehicles to Kiev, a tracked vehicle that carries an autocannon, a machine gun and TOW missiles.

The 8-wheel armoured fighting vehicles are reportedly less powerful than tanks but come in handy when treading snow, mud and sand.

❗️Inciting violence: analysts accuse Britain of escalating attacks against civilians in Yemen 🇾🇪 🇬🇧

British analysts accused London of "inciting violence" against Yemeni civilians through arms sales to Saudi Arabia, Middle East Eye reported.

2021-2022: a quarter of the 1,700 attacks on civilians in Yemen were perpetrated by the Saudi Arabian coalition with US and British weapons, according to a report by Oxfam.

The London-Washington-backed coalition is responsible for estimated 87 civilian deaths and 136 injuries during this period.

“The intensity of these attacks would not have been possible without the readiness to supply weapons,” author of the report and Oxfam analyst stated.

Britain sold at least £7.9 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia since 2015. Still,  the "campaign against the arms trade" claims that real sales could exceed 23 billion through "open licensees".

However, it is not only Yemen that suffers from such arms deliveries.
