The situation in western Colombia has turned deadly fast.
At least 47 people are now reported dead after the powerful 7.4 earthquake struck near San José del Palmar.
More than a dozen buildings have collapsed, others have been damaged, and rescue crews are searching through the hardest-hit areas.
The shaking was felt across a huge part of the region and the full extent of the destruction is still coming in.
47 lives lost… and the numbers climbed within hours.

At Fort Knox, we've come to see the gold!
Our country has about a hundred and forty-seven million ounces of gold, and about half of it is stored here at Fort Knox.
We're gonna be going deep underground to see the gold, but more importantly, we're gonna be talking today about what happened to our dollar when we separated from gold in 1971.
