Some additional information:

The stack recents is only shown in settings on HyperOS 3.1.
It is also restricted to level 5 devices and above (currently F6 Pro, F7 & F8 series and X8 Pro Max).
If you have F6, X7 Pro and lower or running OS3.0 and lower, the only way to use stack recents is to forcibly setting the value using the following command:
settings put global task_stack_view_layout_style 2
