In the late 90s I worked with Tom Linzey to draft a corporate charter revocation against a low level nuclear facility contaminating a Maryland community with uncontrolled releases of radioactive cobalt-60. My eyes were peeled wide open about governments’ defense of industrial polluters over the health of the citizens paying their salaries. Environmental pollution is one path that led me to becoming a functional health practitioner.

Mitochondria and Your Health. I have a client with interesting genes. I'm not supposed to say genes are "good" or "bad" ... they just are. And yet. This client has brain fog, ataxia, fatigue and GI distress that looks like (may or not be) SIBO with diarrhea. My genetic analysis software color-codes variants for thousands of genes related to inflammation and detoxification. The client's genes are a sea of turquoise, blues and greens meaning she has relatively few variants ... except for a few distinct blazing red genetic variants associated with mitochondrial function. Her organic acids test reflects what we see in the genes: she isn't making pyruvate or lactate which feed into the Kreb's cycle where we make ATP (a very important signaling compound associated with energy). She is working with a chiropractor to rebalance her autonomic nervous system, as well as nutritionally supporting her mitochondria. A blood test for sugar regulation (and more) would add another layer of insight ...
"Beyond the disorders recognized as mitochondrial diseases, abnormalities in function and/or ultrastructure of mitochondria have been reported in several unrelated pathologies. These encompass ageing, malformations, and a number of genetic or acquired diseases, as diabetes and cardiologic, haematologic, organ-specific (e.g., eye or liver), neurologic and psychiatric, autoimmune, and dermatologic disorders."

SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Impairs Endothelial Function via Downregulation of ACE2 - PubMed
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) includes the cardiovascular complications in addition to respiratory disease. SARS-CoV-2 infection impairs endothelial function and induces vascular inflammation, leading to endotheliitis. SARS-CoV-2 infection relies on…

🤞🤞TOXINS AND YOUR MENTAL WELL-BEING Toxins like the mycotoxins given off by molds, and the toxins emitted by dying parasites and worms ... along with nutrient deficiencies will epigenetically effect your mitochondria and the enzymes (genes) responsible for clearing them out. When your toxic burden is high, your nutrients are low and there are variants in the enzymes (genes) that are responsible for removing toxins from body and brain, your mood and mental clarity can suffer.
