"You are going to have to take responsibility for this body your spirit is now living in." ~ Dr Christiane Northrup
ZINC IS CRITICAL FOR A HEALTHY MIND, BRAIN. It is needed for BDNF to do its job. Zinc is an antagonist to NMDA. However, when there is a neuroinflammatory state in the brain, neurons will use extra cellular zinc to kick off microglia. So it isn’t so simple as pounding zinc (which will tank copper ... another kettle of issues). There are genes that transport zinc into the cell. Organic acids, blood biomarkers, nutrient tests will tell you a lot about your MOOD and MENTAL HEALTH issues.
FUNCTIONAL HEALTH ... BEYOND DIAGNOSIS AND BEYOND PROTOCOLS
NAC (cysteine) and GLUTATHIONE .... variants in GSTA, GSTM (part of making glutathione) will effect how much of it you have in YOUR LUNGS to clear out toxins, pathogens. Here is a long list of compounds, along with NAC that help clear out the lungs.
Let’s say you can’t make lipids very well because of variants in PEMT, and you don’t make glutathione very well, and you have porphyria that tanks B6 and zinc? Who ya gonna call???
PLANTS ARE POWERFUL for detoxification, but you need to know what you are doing when you supplement! Curcumin, quercetin, and milk thistle inhibit Phase 3 detoxification transporters so they actually *slow* detoxification. St. Johns Wort *increases* Phase 3.

Quercetin
https://bit.ly/Quercetin-380

This Plant-Based Quercetin is formulated with an enhanced phytosome delivery method that increases your body’s ability to absorb active Quercetin up to 20 times higher than standard quercetin.

"I first became aware of the incredible bio-distribution of quercetin in edible plants throughout Nature by researching its special qualities as a yellow pigment. Quercetin is found in practically every plant food you have ever eaten! In addition, quercetin allows through (into the interior of plant cells) 380 nm of the spectrum of light which has important DNA nourishing qualities. Quercetin is now confirmed to be the primary active ingredient St. John's Wort. Other than St. John's Wort, capers and onions are unusually rich in quercetin. Although well known for its positive effects on respiratory health and against allergies, quercetin may yet prove to become one of the most important neutralizers of spike protein." ~ David Wolfe
