TERRAIN meets "GENETICS" & "DNA"
"what’s actually doing the work is the environment, the modifiers, the timing, and the conditions — which is what terrain medicine said in the first place. The gene has become a vestigial term, retained because the institution cannot afford to drop it."
"The fact that something runs in a family does not establish that genes are doing the running. Families share food, water, soil, electromagnetic environments, emotional patterns, and toxic exposures. Families share the conditions under which bodies form. The shared conditions could account for most of what genetics claims to explain, and the gene-based explanation has not been demonstrated."
"The pattern that builds and rebuilds the body is not stored in the DNA. It is stored somewhere the framework does not look." [Levin experiments at Tufts; see previous posts on this channel.]

Heredity Without Genes
An Essay on the Failure of the Genetic Story and the Question of Where Family Resemblance Actually Comes From
IONIZATION test INTERPRETATION.. and a low blood pressure (possibly low sugar) episode ...
Three nights ago, a friend and I met at Bistro du Lac in Chapala for an early dinner. Over a caprainha and margarita, he said he felt lightheaded, coukd I put ice on his neck? He was passing out. The young Mexican couple a few tables away came over; he measured pulse, made sure my friend kept his legs straight. The owners were on it like paramedics (4th similar episode in two days) Three Cruz Roja arrived to take vitals. Everyone asking my friend questions (did he know where he was, the date etc), all of which he chuckled at when conscious ... I sat close held his hand, called his name, as his eyes rolled back, and he started to go out again. I wasn't scared, just deeply sad and greatly comforted by the company, proficiency calm humor. We all eventually resumed with dinners and tending restaurant. The young couple upon leaving turned around to say goodbye and he said, "I love you" to my friend, which slays me still! My friend has been quite obstinate about caring for himself properly At 72 he plays pickleball three times a week which I believe aggravates his stiff neck (I've seen the x-rays) and arm/hand neuropathy. I had spent hours doing Bowen-like therapy and talking about (providing) tissue salts, but eventually, the pain excrutating, he had surgery a year ago to fuse C6 C7. He calls Brown's Gas "funny water" (will not drink it).
In the quiet moments after the bistro episode, he proclaimed he needs to eat better and hydrate. And he finally agreed to do the RBTI ionization test with me.
He gravitates to a black southern (US) diet ... a rough start!
His #s were 8.0 / 5.5 - 7.5 / 8.2. / 4M
I consider the salts at 8.2 to be low because once he starts to hydrate to bring down the (very) high sugars, the salts will also go down (way too low)!

Interpretation of Individual Markers
High Sugar (Brix > 1.5)
A urine sugar reading significantly higher than the optimal 1.5 Brix suggests the body is not efficiently utilizing carbohydrates. This often parallels lowered oxygen availability in the blood and indicates that the individual may be consuming excessive carbohydrates or suffering from insulin resistance. In RBTI, high sugar combined with other imbalances can place a person in Range C (excessive carbohydrate imbalance, toxicity) or Range B (healing range, slower digestion).
Low Salts (Conductivity < 6C)
Urine conductivity measures electrolytes and salts. The optimal range is 6–7C. A reading lower than 6C indicates low electrical flow within the body. This suggests the body is communicating slowly, leading to low energy levels and an inability for organ systems to respond effectively. While high salts are often caused by dehydration, low salts can result from undereating or drinking too much water, which flushes out essential salts and electrolytes.
Acidic Urine pH (< 6.4)
In RBTI, the ideal urine pH is 6.4. A reading below this (e.g., 5.4 or lower) is considered cationic or acidic. This indicates:
Speeded-up digestion, potentially leading to diarrhea.
A lack of proper mineral balance, specifically calcium.
That the large intestine may be toxic.
The body is in an acidic state where nutrients are not well absorbed, often associated with Range D where the body is depleted and food moves too quickly through the tract.
Alkaline Saliva pH (> 6.4)
The ideal saliva pH is also 6.4. A reading above this is anionic or alkaline.
This points to:
Slowed digestion, potentially leading to constipation.
Weaker gastric juices.
Potential deficiencies in Vitamin B12 or K2.
Stress on the liver and pancreas.
The "Split pH" Condition
The most critical aspect of this profile is the divergence between the urine and saliva pH levels. Reams emphasized that energy comes from the friction between cations and anions seeking equilibrium.
When urine is acidic and saliva is alkaline (or vice versa), the numbers are moving in opposite directions away from the ideal 6.4.
This "split pH" causes a drastic drop in energy, described as potentially "catastrophic" compared to when both numbers move in tandem.
The greater the distance between the two pH numbers, the greater the energy loss and the harder it is for the body to assimilate nutrients, regardless of diet quality.
Synthesis: High Sugar, Low Salts, Split pH
This specific combination suggests a body that is electrically depleted yet metabolically confused:
Dehydration vs. Over-hydration Paradox: While high sugar often suggests a need for water, the low salt reading warns that the individual may be drinking too much plain water, flushing out electrolytes, or simply not eating enough to maintain electrolyte balance.
Digestive Chaos: The body is experiencing fast elimination (acid urine) while simultaneously suffering from slow upper digestion (alkaline saliva). This prevents proper nutrient breakdown and absorption.
Energy Crisis: The split pH creates high resistance, meaning the body cannot generate sufficient energy from food. The high sugar indicates fuel is present but not being burned efficiently due to the lack of electrolytic conductivity (low salts) and pH imbalance.
To address this, an RBTI practitioner would likely focus on correcting the electrolyte balance (to raise conductivity), adjusting carbohydrate intake (to lower sugar), and using specific forms of calcium to bring both pH levels closer to 6.4, thereby reducing the energy loss caused by the split."

Home urine sodium test of ADRENALS
~ as elucidated by Dr Barre Paul Lando
This quick test indicates adrenal function vía sodium levels in the urine. Dr Landó says he perdormed this test on all his patients, every visit. The test Is a window into aldosterone function. Aldosterone helps preserve salts so that one can hold on to water, for proper hydration without edema.
WHAT YOU NEED:
10% potassium chromate (indicator reagent)
.74% silver nitrate (titrating agent)
50ml test tube
Dropper
Holder for the tube.
STEPS (all with precise measurements!)
Add first morning urine, add potassium chromate, add silver nitrate & récord # of drops to effect color change
1) put 10 drops morning urine in the tube
2) add 1 drop potassium chromate. Swish gently (urine will turn yellowish color)
3) add 1 drop at a time of silver nitrate until urine turns red or orange Swish gently between drops.
4) Count each drop & report the # of drops to attain the red or orange color.
ANALYSIS
17-25 drops indicates aldosterone (adrenal) balance
Over 25: adrenals aré putting more sodium in urine - a sign they aré not functioning well (early stage hypo-adrenals)
Under 17 drops adrenals put very little sodium in urine - a sign they are not functioning much at all. (hyper-adrenal resistance causing sodium retention)
40-60 drops adrenals in severe dysfunction, sodium wasting
DR LANDO'S PRESENTATION ...
*. In 1894, Dr GW Carey ("Biochemic System of Medicine") diabetes mellitus Is a sodium phosphate (NatPhos) deficiency remedied by sodium sulfate (NatSulf) primarily.
High blood pressure can be an adrenal compensatory measure. Blood pressure medications (eg, angiotensin & calcium channel blockers) will mask adrenal function & add side effects. As well tere Is relationship with hormones, blood sugar (as in diabetes*)

THE MYRIAD CALCIUMS for
proper Ionization and polarity (ácid/alkaline, yin/yang, sodium/potassium, anion/catión, positive/negative ... ie, energy.) I set out this morning to find calcium hydroxide, listed by Dr Beddoe (The Calcium Kit for RBTI). as a primary calcium to alkalize an acidic urine. pH (below 6.4). SOY IDIOTA. In the morning, I inquired at a farmacia ... did they have calcium hydroxide? (no). By afternoon I figured out that this calcium Is the lime added to corn tortilla masa. A tortilla shop owner gifted me a scoop from her big bag of what they simply call: CAL (calcium!) And then I passed this bodega for a tortilleria with its pile of Calidra/Nixtacal (calcium hydroxide)

THE PARASITE BANDWAGON ... & IONIZATION (RBTI, pHs, calciums) & ALKALINITY
In Terrain, parasites play a natural role in cleaning the body of debris. RBTI (ionization energy theory'), unfortunately, ascribes to Germ Theory. That said, It Is useful for understanding WHY someone may have parasites: "When the chemistry of the urine and saliva shows body Is alkaline, free room and board Is being provuded for parasites to move in. The main problem with parasites in the intestines Is that they rob nutrients from you to feed themselves. If you are concerned with parasite prevention, here Is what you should pay attention to. (1) Correct the pH with the information in the The Calcium Kit ... (4) If you have had an alkaline pH problem that you aré correcting with the use of The Calcium Kit, It would be a good idea to use the diatomaceous earth preparations know as "K-min" ..."
K-min kills, shreds parasites. It comprises diatomite and MinCol (soft rock phosphate, ie biblical dust)
