🔸 According with official sources around 140 arrests were made for arson, many go as back as May, 119 by negligence and 27 for intentional arson

🔸 Sadly the precise data regarding the age and nationalities of those arrested has not been released yet.

‼️ 79 of these arrests are linked to wildfires, according with the Minister of Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilias, who also stated that several arson attempts were registered in Mount Parnitha, North of Athens, thankfully the attempts were not successful

🔸 It is important to note that clear arson attempts have been identified in several regions in Greece, from Avlonas to Evros and even Greek islands such as Corfu and Crete, although most of these have not resulted in arrests yet
