🔴 Erdogan - 2017: "Europeans across the world will not be able to walk the streets safely if they keep up their current attitude towards Turkey"
Original article 👉 https://archive.is/R0xWg

‼️ The threat was made after Turkish officials in Europe were prevented from campaigning to expatriate Turks about constitutional changes proposed by Erdogan that would limit civil rights and lead to persecution of his opposition which it did

🔸 Turkish media and officials compared that to a Nazi/Fascist regime run by Merkel (German chancellor at the time) and such comparisons (not the threats) made the German government react strongly and caused a strain in relations

‼️ Merkel had made a statement asking Turkey to cease the aggressive rhetoric

🔴 Another group of immigrants "rescued" from Greek islets in the Evros river as smugglers' "forced-rescue" strategy is proven effective
>https://archive.is/YAk8k

🔸 The new strategy of immigrant smugglers has been working and becoming more frequent, they have been dropping illegal immigrants in islets in the middle of the Evros river which are on the Greek side of the border. This time FRONTEX, Greek Border Guards and Paramedics participated in the forced rescue

‼️ This time 91 illegal immigrants have been 'rescued', 32 adult men, 25 adult women and 34 "minors", information that had been previously relayed to Greek Authorities through NGOs

FREATTYDA: 22-year-old boxer saves Greek girl (17) from attempted rape by four Egyptians

The young girl experienced the ultimate horror when she was attacked by 4 #migrants while swimming at Freattyda beach.

Manolis Kafetziadis, armed with nothing more than a pen, came to her rescue, fought off the foreign predators, managing to subdue the rapists.

The four #migrant perpetrators who managed to escape after a lengthy struggle were later arrested after a manhunt launched by the police.

All four #Egyptians were identified by their victims and are charged with, among other things, attempted rape, attempted grievous bodily harm and attempted theft.

So am I optimistic? In the long term, yes. In the short to medium term, no. The military say "sweat spares blood". That is to say that you have to face all situations beforehand, in training, to be able to advance later on without losses.

"Sweat spares blood", the French have refused for several years to truly and definitively confront the problem, so they will have the blood.

🔴 Investigation reveals that around 40 of the 100 NGOs in Greece are laundering money
>https://archive.is/fPP9r

🔸 The investigations revealed that around 40 out of the 100 NGOs operating in Greece are involved in some money laundering scheme, using offshore companies and relatives with high salaries to move large amounts of money

🔸 The main target of the investigation right now is Panagiotis Dimitras, which is the head of several NGOs, all involved in money laundering and smuggling immigrants. Tommy Olsen is another big name cited

‼️ Information proves that after failing to enter Greece, immigrants were told by the smugglers to contact Dimitras who would help them file a complaint for "illegal pushbacks" against the Greece with all legal fees paid by his NGO "Hellenic Observatory of the Helsinki Agreements"

‼️⚠️ All assets and bank accounts liked to Dimitras, his first degree relatives and NGOs have been frozen and will be confiscated

🔴 In a surprising move, Turkish authorities ordered over 350 illegal immigrants from islets in Evros
>https://archive.is/WfoG2

🔸 Turkish authorities ordered 350 illegal immigrants who were "stranded" in islets in the middle of the Evros river to return to Turkey

/GBG/
🟢 The Turkish decision is very surprising for going against the government's past positions on illegal immigration in which authorities were recorded several times transporting illegals directly to the border and many also claimed they were forced to cross the river sometimes under threats and physical violence

🟢 Changes like these happened several times before, usually when Turkey attempts new negotiations or is under threat of sanctions from the EU as it has been noted in 2020 during the signing and research of the illegal EEZ agreement between Turkey and Libya in which Turkey only stopped with its escalations momentarily while the EU voted possible sanctions and budgets that could affect them

🔴 Spain and Poland withdraw from Turkish military exercise "Phoenix of Anatolia - 2023"

🔸 The move came after Cyprus issued a statement warning EU states that Turkey would perform the exercises along with "Northern Cyprus" troops, which are not recognized and seen as an illegal occupation force by the EU

🇨🇾👉 "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Diplomatic Office of the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the Ministry of Defense, took the necessary steps at all levels. Participating states were found not to have prior knowledge of the involvement of the illegal separatist entity. As a result of the aforementioned actions, Spain and Poland have informed the Republic of Cyprus that they are withdrawing immediately from the exercise"

🔴 EU council wants to pass new Immigration Reform with "mandatory solidarity"

‼️👉 PART 1/4

🔸 The reform proposal would impose fines for countries that refuse to receive "refugees", imposing a minimum quota of 30,000 "relocations" per year*, alternatively, financial contributions of 20,000 Euros per relocation

‼️ The mandatory relocation would become effective if a country's quota falls under 60% of what was stipulated

WHO WOULD BENEFIT
👉 With the current text, Germany, France, Sweden and Britain would benefit

WHY
🔸 The reform tries to curb "secondary displacement" which is when the immigrants receive asylum in countries such as Greece and move to other countries, the secondary countries will be able to simply issue a notice and send the immigrants back

👇EXPLAINING MAIN POINTS👇

👉 2/4 #NewProcedure & #Quotas
👉 3/4 #ReplaceDublinRegulation & #MandatorySolidarity
👉 4/4 #CurbingSecondaryDisplacement

🔴 EU council new Immigration Reform

‼️👉 PART 3/4

✳️ Replacement of #DublinRegulation
🔺 Will shorten time limits for Asylum applications to be reviewed *BUT* will also make it easier for secondary countries to send back Applicants to the countries they first applied for Asylum with a simple take-over notice (benefitting countries such as Germany that immigrants have as its target destinations)

✳️ "Mandatory Solidarity"
🔺 Countries can CHOOSE BETWEEN: house/receive/relocate immigrants *OR* provide #FinancialContributions and/or alternative solidarity measures. Minimum annual #quota of 30 000 relocations *OR* financial contribution for the quota of 20 000 per relocation, taking into account if no contribution is needed. Relocating becomes mandatory if the approvals fall short of 60% of what is stipulated by the EU Council for that year or under the #MinimumQuota (Previously proposed by Germany before and refused by Greece 👉POST HERE👈 and 👉HERE👈)

🔴 EU council new Immigration Reform

‼️👉 PART 2/4

✳️ New EU-Wide #AsylumProcedure:
🔺 The reviews of Asylum Applications must be performed at border countries to decide if applications are valid, meanwhile the immigrants would not be allowed to enter the country/EU. This procedure will be used in case of illegal entry, application at border, "rescue", use of false/misleading identity or if the applicant poses a threat to national security. The review must not take longer than 6 months. Each country can decide if the country the Applicant is coming from is safe or not

✳️ "Sufficient capacity" and Quotas
🔺 Countries must have enough human resources to process applications and send back the results at any time. Each country's individual #quota will be calculated using a formula that takes into account the total of illegal entries and refusals of entry over a three-year period

🔴 EU council new Immigration Reform

‼️👉 PART 4/4

✳️ Curbing secondary displacements
🔺 All Asylum applications MUST be made at the country of first entry (Greece and Italy), limiting the possibilities of suspension or transfers so that they are unable to choose a country they want to apply for Asylum. The country of first entry will be responsible for the application for TWO YEARS. If a border country rejects the application at the border during the new #AsylumProcedure and the person re-applies, the country's responsibility for that person will expire after 15 months

/GBG/
🟢 The reform will make things worse and speed up mass immigration, benefitting countries that would rather pay to not receive them (as Germany proposed Greece before 👉POST HERE👈 and 👉HERE👈) as well as reducing the sovereignty of countries who refuse to accept them as well as send immigrants back to border countries if they move to other EU countries before or after being granted Asylum
