Turkey has built more than 235 kilometers of a security wall covering the Çaldıran, Özalp, Saray and Başkale districts that border Iran.
The wall has been built to combat terrorism, smuggling, and illegal migration into Turkey.
Along the wall are frequent border patrols and watchtowers to deter any invader, in addition to that, there are sniper teams and commando units deployed at critical points on the border line, where anti-drone systems against UAVs, drones and paramotors, air defence cannon and turret (anti-aircraft) mounted armoured personnel carriers operate.

Did a DRAGON attack a train in California in 1882?
* * * * *
In the late afternoon of January 17, 1882, a Southern Pacific Railroad express train traveling from Yuma, Arizona to Los Angeles, California experienced a bizarre encounter near Dos Palms, a well-known desert spring in the Colorado Desert.
Description of the Event:
According to the testimonies of the engineer, fireman, and multiple passengers, the train was moving at high speed when the travelers noticed what at first appeared to be a column of sand slowly drifting westward. It soon became clear that this was no natural phenomenon, but a living creature: a HUGE, SERPENTINE BEAST with a PAIR of LARGE WINGS near its head. The creature was estimated to be about 30 feet (9 meters) in length.
As it reached the railroad tracks, the train struck the creature’s tail, severing a portion of it. The wounded creature reacted instantly: it took flight and began chasing the train, reportedly faster than “a chain of lightning,” as witnesses described. Within moments, it flew over the locomotive and launched an attack: windows were shattered, loud growls were heard, and panic spread among the passengers. When the winged serpent finally veered away, several passengers fired revolvers at it, but to no effect.
This incident was reported in newspapers of the time, including the Los Angeles Times, noting that the testimonies were consistent and “confirmed by all those aboard the train.”
The Dos Palms incident is not an isolated case. Throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries, numerous sightings across the United States described flying reptilian creatures, commonly referred to as “American Dragons.”
