They lived in Mount Seir, Edom, Jordan, just like Haplogroups J1 and G2b (G-M377) both concentrate in Jordan today. I'm not sure how the Edom/Amalek inversion convinces anyone except the most Biblically and scientifically illiterate, but then the Bible isn't for them anyway.
