The Russian Ambassador to the UN just accused Ukraine and its western backers of exporting the Ukraine War (in the form of terrorism) to Africa and the rest of the world. Ukrainian operators have been caught training local fighters with Ukrainian drones and US-provided weapons across the entire continent of Africa (particularly in Libya and the Sahel) as well as in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and most recently in Iraq.

Fox News is uncritically reporting what appears to be a fake quote put out by an Israeli media outlet claiming that IRGC chief Ahmad Vahidi stated, "As long as the United States and Israel possess nuclear weapons, we will continue working on them for our national security."

"That's as close to an admission as I've heard, and we've been watching this story for years," Fox News' Bill Hemmer says after reading the unverified quote on air as though it was fact.

Note their chyron goes even further, stating that "IRGC Vows to Keep Nukes"—as though Iran already has nuclear weapons!

The quote appears to have been first put out by the hasbara account "Mossad Commentary," then was regurgitated by Channel 14. Netanyahu pounced on it to declare it proof that Iran has now "explicitly declared" their intent to develop nuclear weapons.

Nonetheless, Ynetnews (an Israeli outlet) investigated the quote but found "no such statement, at least not a public one, was issued or reported by media outlets in Iran..."

After looking into this Paks-2 nuclear deal, it appears Viktor Orban signed the deal with Putin in 2014, and it is the largest government investment in Hungarian history.

The deal has faced major delays through permitting and the Ukraine war. Opposition factions in 2014 were calling to scrap the deal in favor of a solar alternative (hah!).

They were suppose to break ground last November, but that too was delayed.

For whatever reason, now that Peter Magyar is PM, progress has accelerated and the project is being fast tracked.
