Today, the terms of service were amended.
β οΈ ALERT REGARDING FOMO APP'S UPDATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS β οΈ
Upon reviewing FOMO's updated Terms and Conditions, several significant concerns have been identified:
β οΈ The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice.
β οΈ Private keys are transmitted to the user unencrypted via a third party. FOMO explicitly states they are not liable if keys are stolen during transit to the user.
β οΈ The terms mandate arbitration, waive the right to jury trials, and waive the right to class actions. Users effectively agree never to sue the platform in the event of asset depletion.
β οΈ There are zero security guarantees, as stated: "WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE SECURITY OR SAFETY OF YOUR DIGITAL ASSETS OR THE SERVICES".
β οΈ Direct damages are disclaimed with no liability caps or minimums. The explicit objective is to owe the user nothing, even in the event of total loss.
β οΈ There is no guarantee that fees will be disclosed prior to transaction execution.
β οΈ The platform reserves the right to modify rules at any time and may update terms secretly without user notification.
