He will likely give Alberta stuff it wants, which will keep the country together along with him winning a majority in Quebec.

Political risk will decrease, which will then allow Carney to negotiate with Trump more freely.

The official version is that 2.5 million French people (often those who have qualified jobs in France) have left.

In reality, if we assume that the rate of people leaving France declaring their departure to the French consulate is the same than for third world countries, it could be up to 5.8 millions in a worst case scenario.
