🇱🇧 Lebanon | Snowfall at 350 Meters in Minjez, Akkar

❄️On February 22, 2025, northern regions of Lebanon, particularly Minjez in the Akkar district, experienced snowfall reaching elevations as low as 350 meters above sea level. This is an uncommon occurrence for the country's coastal and low-lying areas. Local residents, including journalist Marine Abboud, captured the snowy landscapes and shared them on social media.

The snowfall led to the closure of certain roads and disruptions in transportation. Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution and, if possible, avoid traveling to the affected areas.
