🇵🇭|🌀 On November 11, northeastern Philippines was struck by Typhoon Toraji, leading to the evacuation of residents from over 2,500 villages.

💨 Wind gusts reached up to 130 km/h, and heavy rainfall caused local rivers to rise. Local residents report on social media: “Large trees are falling, and we’ve heard that some roofs have been damaged. The rain continues, and the nearby river is rising."

🌧 The National Meteorological Agency issued warnings about strong winds and “intense or heavy” rainfall with levels exceeding 200 mm in the northern part of the country. The agency also highlighted a moderate to high risk of storm surge, with waves reaching up to three meters along the northern coast.

🆘 This is already the fourth typhoon to hit the Philippines in less than a month, with more than 150 people lost in this time.

‼️ Meteorologist Veronica Torres stated that Tropical Storm Man-Yi, currently located east of Guam, may threaten the region as soon as Thursday evening, November 14.
