With Thanksgiving just a couple days away, Mother Nature is providing a
suitable weather pattern for travelers across the vast majority of the
U.S. mainland through Wednesday night. This is due to a dome of Canadian high pressure in control of the weather pattern across much of the East. This high pressure system has engulfed much of the eastern third of the U.S. in an air-mass more akin to what is typically observed in the heart of the holiday season. Freeze Watches and Warnings have been issued in parts of the Southeast while Winter Weather Advisories remain in effect downwind of Lakes Erie and Ontario early this morning.
Daytime highs will struggle to get out of the 40s in the Northeast today while much of the Southeast sees high temperature departures ranging between 10 and 20 degrees below normal. Another chilly day is on tap up and down the East Coast on Wednesday before warmer temperatures arrive on Thanksgiving.
Speaking of "warmer temperatures", an upper level ridge of high pressure
traversing the Nation's Heartland is responsible for a surge in abnormally
warm conditions from the Southwest to the Midwest today. The warmest daytime high departures will be centered in the central Plains where highs range anywhere from 15 to 30 degrees above normal.
Critical Risks for fire weather and Red Flag Warnings have been issued in parts of the Great Plains due to favorable fire weather prospects today. Another intrusion of cold Canadian high pressure plunges into the northern Rockies and Plains on Wednesday, then sweeps across most of the Plains and Upper Mississippi Valley by Thanksgiving.
Most of the Intermountain West and West Coast will also see temperatures plunge to below normal levels mid-week before returning to more seasonally warm levels by Thanksgiving.
An upper level disturbance tracking through the Northwest this morning. It is ushering a stream of Pacific moisture into the Pacific Northwest that isresponsible for areas of coastal/valley rain and mountain snow today. Most accumulations are forecast to be on the lighter side, although some of the higher elevations (Cascades, Bitterroots, Lewis Range, Tetons) could pick up as much as a foot of snow by the time the snow subsides Wednesday
evening. Farther south, a cold front crossing through the southern Rockies
may lead to spotty showers and accumulating mountain snow Tuesday night.
The aforementioned Pacific Northwest disturbance will head east and cause
an area of low pressure to form over the Great Lakes. As its trailing cold
front advances east through the nation's mid-section mid-week, this sets the stage for scattered showers to breakout from the Lower Great Lakes to
the South Central U.S. Wednesday night. Some thunderstorms may also
develop in the southern Plains Wednesday night into early in the day on Thanksgiving. Look for showers and thunderstorms to push into the Ohio and Tennessee valleys later in the day on Thanksgiving with locally heavy
rainfall possible in southeast Texas. The regions most likely to stay dry
on Thanksgiving are the Southwest, Intermountain West, Midwest, and much
of the East Coast.

Darrell Brooks was once convicted for threatening to bomb a Nevada casino | Daily Mail Online
The 39-year-old was arrested on November 2 after attempting to run over his ex-girlfriend 'EAP' at a gas station in Milwaukee.
According to a police report, Brooks had shown up outside her room at the America Inn motel screaming and cursing at her.
When she left to walk to a gas station, Brooks followed her and told her to get inside his vehicle; striking her with a closed fist when she refused.
'EAP reported that Brooks then, intentionally and without consent, ran EAP over with his vehicle while EAP as walking though the parking lot of the BP gas station,' the police report said.
Brooks was bailed for $1,000 on that charge on November 11, a figure the Milwaukee County District Attorney now says was 'inappropriately low' given his criminal history.
The office has launched an internal review as to why he was able to get out on bond to commit more alleged crimes.

URGENT COLORADO:
Denver Metro Partnership for Health (composed of five county health directors) is attempting to persuade Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment to implement what appears to be a statewide vaccine passport. The request was sent to Governor Polis and the executive director of the CDPHE on 11/12/21 and selected excerpts follow:
▪️In the face of unprecedented challenges presented by the current Covid-19 surge to the capacity of hospital systems across Colorado—a surge that may require rationing of medical care in the near future—the Metro Denver Partnership for Health urgently requests that you [Gov. Polis] issue a statewide public health order that requires the following:
•Vaccine Passports (required proof of vaccination for all patrons and staff) in high-risk indoor settings such as bars, restaurants, gyms, sporting events, and other large-group settings.
•Face coverings for all Coloradans age 2 and older in public indoor settings without vaccine passports.
•[Vaccine] uptake has lagged in many areas across the state, and thus, we additionally ask that you take steps to require vaccination (without a testing option) among the following key sectors of our workforce to increase Colorado’s vaccination rates:
•Teachers, staff, and volunteers in schools and licensed child care settings.
•Staff and volunteers in shelters and other congregate living settings.
•Health care providers not already subject to mandates, including individuals licensed by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies Division of Professions and Occupations.
•State, county, municipal employees, boards and commission, city councils and their contractors not already subject to mandates.
This power grab is being made by UNELECTED officials and without ANY input from stakeholders like Colorado citizens, business and venue owners, teachers, and others. It is also bypassing the legislative process and we must stop this now.
It’s unacceptable to restrict the rights of individuals based on their personal health decisions or vaccine status. It’s even more egregious to discriminate against those who refuse to receive an experimental vaccine that’s not FDA approved, has documented safety concerns, and for which there is no recourse in the event of injury or death.

This is the 400th anniversary of the first Thanksgiving celebration held in 1621.
A reminder...the Pilgrims survived a brutal winter and lost half of their people to disease. They left behind loved ones and would never again return to the things they’d always known. Sound familiar??
But after a dark and devastating year, they knew that what they had in America was a unique blessing, full of freedom far more important than anything they had left behind so they carved out a day to celebrate faith, freedom, and family, and to give thanks for all.
All across our nation, Thanksgiving is a day that we set aside in order to do one thing: be thankful.
Here at We the Patriots USA, we are very thankful for your support. Therefore, we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to you.
