🇻🇪⚡️💬 — Edmundo González Urrutia comments on the protests and asserts that he was the legitimate winner of the Venezuelan elections:

"Venezuelans have already chosen the path of peace, and it must be respected.

On July 28, millions of us expressed ourselves with our votes, and now we demand that the results be respected. The minutes show us as undisputed winners, and all institutions are called to abide by the decision of the Venezuelan people.

I ask Venezuelans to continue peacefully demanding that the result be respected and that the minutes be published. This victory, which belongs to all of us, will unite and reconcile us as a nation.

The truth is the path to peace."

🇧🇴🌹🇻🇪🇻🇪 — Former Bolivian President Evo Morales expresses "full support" for Maduro and the results provided by the CNE in Venezuela:

"The statements by Deputy Héctor Arce do not represent the official position of MAS-IPSP. The Democratic and Cultural Revolution, led by the indigenous movement, is anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist by heritage and history.

In this sense, we have forged historical bonds of brotherhood and fraternity with the Bolivarian Revolution of Venezuela, which was led by our Commander Hugo Chávez and is now led by brother Nicolás Maduro. We reaffirm our full support for the popular victory celebrated this Sunday, certified by the National Electoral Council, and our solidarity commitment with the brave Venezuelan people."

🇧🇴🌹🇻🇪🇻🇪 — Evo Morales on 𝕏:

"We strongly condemn the new coup attempt against the legally and legitimately constituted government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Once again, international right-wing forces, along with the OAS, major corporations, and several media outlets, are trying to overturn by force what the people voted for in the ballot boxes. We are confident that the peace-loving Venezuelan people will uphold their sovereignty, freedom, democracy, and revolution. All our solidarity with President Nicolás Maduro, his government, and his people."
