🌐❗️🇻🇪🇻🇪 — The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights issued a statement asking the Venezuelan government not to use state power to interfere in the electoral process, but did not assert that there was fraud in the elections:

"In light of reports of irregularities in vote counting and fraud, the IACHR reaffirms that the State must restore the independence and balance of powers, as well as respect the rule of law.

Granting independence to the National Electoral Council is a fundamental measure to regain the trust of the citizens and the international community in the country's public institutions, as well as to ensure the unrestricted respect for the legitimate and democratic decisions made by the Venezuelan people at the polls."
