The Association of Friends of French Socialism and the Commune, close to Europe-Action, was founded in 1967. Its birth was announced in Socialisme européen, a Lyon-based newsletter founded by the former Jeune Nation and Europe-Action member Pierre Vial. It claimed to want to revive a national socialism, embodied by Proudhon, Blanqui, Sorel, Fourier, Saint-Simon, and Le Play, a doctrine that had been killed with the Commune and then “stifled, falsified, and distorted by the current of Marxist thought.”

The reference to Blanquism participates in the same strain of self-representation, with socialism here continually being the exaltation of the barricade, anti-doctrinal vitalism, the denunciation of “Big Money,” often Jewish, and anti-parliamentary fervor. From 1968 onwards, the name of Proudhon covers little more than the idea of ​​a European federation of mono-ethnic regions – his federative principle becoming the name and the means of what German nationalism called bindung, the collective bond to be woven.

People are starting to accept the reality of where we're headed.

Although in a way it's surprising how receptive folks are to this now. For years we at Imperium have been sounding the alarm that the West will be re-tribalized whether it wants to or no. This has been met with various copes about how NW Europeans are not and cannot ever again be, tribal peoples. But they don't get a choice.

Now, all of a sudden, people are ready for this idea. It's encouraging.
