🗞️ As you can see, most of them have already been prepared for the invasion while they were deployed on the northern border, but only 3 of them are currently in position:

- 551st Brigade is under the 146th Division in the Western Galilee
- 36th and 188th Brigades have been taken apart and all their battalions were given to the 3 territorial brigades guarding the Lebanese border.

Total amount of combat soldiers = ~18k, around twice as many as entered Lebanon in 2006.

🪖War in Lebanon is not currently imminent, because most of the required brigades are elsewhere

- 7th, 35th and Commando Brigades are busy in and around Gaza, and have neither been moved north yet nor been prepared for the invasion.

- Carmeli Brigade is currently in Netzarim, but is expected to move north to replace 551 in the next few days. (Carmeli itself will be replaced by Alexandroni in Netzarim)

- 205, 226, 228, Kiryati and Etzioni aren’t mobilized.

I believe that it‘s not likely Lebanon will be invaded in the next 6 weeks, because that’s the minimum amount of time it will take to move everything north (I think it will be in August).

🔶️ United Nations agencies are warning that over 1 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip could experience the highest level of starvation by the middle of next month if hostilities continue

🔶️ The World Food Program and the Food and Agriculture Organization said in a joint report that hunger is worsening because of heavy restrictions on humanitarian access and the collapse of the local food system in the nearly eight-month Israel-Hamas war.

🔶️ The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, the world authority on determining the extent of hunger crises, said in March that around 677,000 people in Gaza were experiencing Phase 5 hunger, the highest level and the equivalent of famine.

🔶️ The two U.N. agencies said in their report Wednesday that that figure could climb to more than 1 million — or nearly half of Gaza's total population of 2.3 million — by the middle of next month.

☠️ An area is considered to be in famine when three things occur: Twenty percent of households have an extreme lack of food, or are essentially starving; at least 30% of the children suffer from acute malnutrition or wasting, meaning they’re too thin for their height; and two adults or four children per every 10,000 people are dying daily of hunger and its complications.

🚨 In its 4th statement today, Hezbullah announced firing air defence missiles towards Israeli jets to force them to leave the Lebanese airspace.

The action was in response to the sonic boombs, which is Israeli army is using as a terror weapon against civilians.
