Handling a Big Runner

Finding a runner early involve dedication and also luck plays a major role for us to stumble upon it.

But,

Handling a big runner is all about skills.

Example: POPCAT, WIF or even any gamble plays that run wild and make big profits.

You can find yourself early in a great potential meme but end up leaving money on the table or roundtripping back to your capital.

One of the way to practice a good habit in handling a big runner is by having a system intact and good realisation in reality.

1) Set reasonable targets
- You don't just aim high but aim reasonably.
Set the target for 2x and so on for the memes.

2) Selling small piece from the entire bags
- This is the first step to manage big runners. Mainly to fight the ego and psychology of you attaching yourself to the bags. It can be just selling 5% - 20% from the whole position.

3) Manage Drawdown Risk
- Every big runners will go through a period of drawdowns. I say it once again, EVERY one of them will go through drawdowns.
- You need to sell part of it during a rip pump and not worry about selling the top.

4) Profit is a profit. Its better than a loss.
- Everyone that have experience multiple losses and roundtrips will appreciate the value of profits. There's no amount of profit that is small if you're not greedy but every losses will hurt you in some way. So choose which one you prefer.

5) Think in term of percentage and not dollar value.
- This will ease yourself to manage your risk and handle the big runners well by not looking at the dollar amount but instead focusing on your risk reward percentage. That way you scale in and scale out perfectly without worrying the dollar change.

6) Build conviction (only solid bags)
- This doesnt apply to big gamble wins but for solid long term bags, you must realise there will be period of pain and suffering where you will question everything. Take a step back and turn off for a moment. This will really help calm you down and build more trust/conviction with the bags

7) You Can Be Wrong
- The better you understand and accept this, the faster you will improve.
Hence why we must manage risk at all times.

If we see the bottom starts to form around this level with the current worst sentiment in the market. $ETH dumping to 2k and nobody is believing in long-term projects anymore.

Just like how nobody believe that ETH/BTC can topped 3 years ago, I feel like people start losing hope for ETH/BTC to bottom after 3 years of downfall.

When the economy and Feds aligns with QE, ETH/BTC bottom will be imminent.

My Next Alts Play: $CHEX

Been keeping an eye on RWA projects and found CHEX as one of the top contender in the sector.

After they announced $795mil tokenized funding into the project, I knew something is up and they are the real deal.

It also align with what Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock want to focus on.

The adoption of Chintai, $CHEX will keep on accelerating in 2025 and I decided to get some bags before the whole sector goes insane.

Sitting at 645mil MC and currently on few CEX, uniswap(ETH) and raydium(SOL). Both onchain and exchanges can get access to buying $CHEX.

Minimum target 5bil - 10bil MC, alongside with the entire sector of RWA reaching $150 billion dollar sector when the market peaks.

$SOL Filling Liquidity

After the massive liquidation, almost all the charts need some type of movement to digest the entire event.

SOL consolidating near this low doesn't mean its bearish, price are digesting the previous liquidation events and are filling all the remaining liquidity to the downside.

I can see we ranging near $200 above or below for quite awhile before fresh catalyst coming in the next few weeks.

Trump as president will keep on bringing surprises to the market.

Always expect the unexpected.

We particularly having a boring early month price action for Februarya and it make sense.

- Trenches was hot on SOL
- TRUMP launched, reached 70bil fdv
- MELANIA launched
- Celebs/Web2 founders launched their own coins
- All coins pumped super high and never last for more than a week

Market is cooked.

And this will take time for market to heal before recovering.

The sane psychological take right now would be to get all your money and leave forever.

Reason why I always push taking profits and not just putting money in majors but actually stabling or cashing out buying IRL valuables we’ve already been going up for 2 years.

95% of all our memecoins we’ve spoken about are turning into dust, this is true pain when all your friends you’ve made over the last year have lost everything.

All the work, stress and pain is what no one talks about it in this game, chasing the highs breaking the barriers of never needing to think about money when you go to a restaurant or pay for your bills.

But this is the game.

The market manipulation cartel are wiping everyone out over leveraged, not having a well thought out portfolio or in general proving why Bitcoin is the true leader of crypto.

Back in 2017-2021 bullruns everyone came to this space because of the tech this and tech that.

I think another reason why this cycle feels different is because in past cycles there was always at least the promise/excitement of what could actually be accomplished with crypto and how it could make things better.

This cycle has none of that. It’s all about memecoins, ETFs, and strategic reserves.

So the goal is getting crypto in front of more people, not actually improving the industry itself.

Of course we can all scream when alt-coin season but I’d rather go down a bit more see true pain and then when everyone is crying send it back up with haste.

One more thing, don’t sell or overthink any of this, it only takes one week for the entire market to be up 10%-20% and just like that you’re rich again.

All your tears will be wiped away into euphoria.

Massively Tight Doji Closing $BTC

After the big liquidation we had last week, BTC remains sideways and start closing its daily candle with clear tightening.

Tbh, just based on experience we can see an upward momentum for BTC in few days/weeks. It can be accompanied with one more shakeout below the doji and rip higher later on.

Market hasn’t top yet, it never does especially when BTC.D is on the rise.

Maybe you couldn’t brain the current price action but theres always something in hindsight which can keep you align with the entire thesis of market hasn’t top yet (my current thesis basically).

Im not pushing my bias, im just opening doors for upside possibility meanwhile staying open for any other outcomes.

Sentiment is way worse than FTX dump.

Perhaps that is whats needed for the market to bottom out sooner or later.

Planning to add on confirmation for my SUI bags.

It will take much longer time for SUI to digest all the bullish push previously and make another base before the next leg.

Adding above $3.5 reclaim confirmation,
DCA $2.5 below till $2 retest.

Clear overhead supply from SUI at $5 distribution, would be facing some challenges to break the level.
A proper clear base with strong demand might have the ability to push above that level and kickstart the next move.
