My first Reddit Recap π
So cute, but most of pages are based just on my recent views/actions, feels like weekly report lol. The card is nice tho :3

Came back to Chrome after a ~year with Firefox
So far, cons:
β’ Small header bar β small buttons
β’ In Firefox you can create tabs by middle-clicking title bar, here you can't
β’ No one-letter hotkeys (RMC + Q for DevTools in Firefox)
β’ DevTools are not that convenient (mostly using Console and Network)
β’ No JSON preview (rendered as a plain text)
β’ No dark modeπ€¬ β only "sync with OS" option that does not work on Ubuntu 22 I'm using rn. At least I managed to make DevTools dark via it's own settings
β’ Icons are clipped and sometimes are loosing background (e.g. GitHub icons in Firefox always have white background)
β’ Tabs opened via "Open in new tab" don't open automatically
Some pros for decency:
β’ All the web "standards" are supported (how unexpectedπ€ͺ )
β’ Groups of tabs
β’ Profiles (Firefox has too, but it's much more obvious and better here)
β’ DevTools Inspect tool does not move focus on the main window on click
Otherwise experience is pretty much the same (websites are websites lol)
P.S. Chrome seems to support xdg portals now (108.0.5359.124) *happy penguin sounds*

Remember failed ThinkPad X1 Fold, a try to revive dual-screens with Plus Gen 3 and overpriced Zenbook 17 Fold? Meet Yoga Book 19i β next generation dual-screen laptop from CES-2023 starting at 2100$. So far looks like a balance between Fold and DUO Zenbooks β theoretically can run Linux (as DUO) but has 2x13.3" total display area remaining pretty flexible (as Fold) with a key difference in price.
Waiting for June to look at final prices and will-it-linux reviews, otherwise it looks like my next laptopπ€ͺ
P.S. Full specs and other CES23 stuff from Lenovo
P.P.S. Pics stolen from Luke Larsen

No one:
Absolutely no one:
Me at 1:29 AM: country ranking. country. ranking.
P.S. Bootedπ» Fedora after a long time with Ubuntu and even outdated 37th feels as a paradise now. You just CAN do things here - can't say so about any other Linux distro

HP monitor's ingenious design requires 45Β° rotation for VESA mount. Just got a compatible stand - but now will have to look for a swivel adapter or change the monitor/stand. Standards, they say π€‘
