8/10 I give Uncharted (2022), one more for fitting a cute cat into the story ๐
Nice #lite movie for a #background, pretty #simple storyline and #cool_actors, #exploration, #puzzle

First day at university with less than B2 language be like
โ Idk what's it, but sounds like counterexample
โ Where the duck is it? How do I get there?
โ Damn, how to switch the layout layers
Overall, it's nice: there is a navigator between rooms (web app), fair enough system of final evaluation/grades and all that stuff, flexible schedule, almost no useless courses. At least 6/11 teachers (9/15 classes) are good. Obviously, it's still worse than uni non-existence but better than I thought ๐ค๐

Wow! Just saw an ad from ASUS CZ withโฆ ZenBook Fold, that one from the latest CES.
ยซUnveil the unbelievable. The first 17" foldable OLED laptop in the worldยป
I'm so pleased they develop it and I hope it won't die as idea โ I'm now trying to achieve the same setup with my new tablet
UPD: 3650โฌ in local stores

A bit old (2014) but #cool_actors and interesting with absolutely no action (#lite) โ #technologies, #worldwar, #spying, #secrecy, #problems of #implementation and #thinking. Bonus point for keeping #true_story_line

My Windows 11 experience after 2 days of usage.
No software and support of any non-basic or non-popular hardware on Linux along with small community and development teams. No tools for development, the worst windows management (so ironically, isn't it) and twitchy animations on Windows. Apple hardware and lots of money for MacOS with no customization. Ducking tech, why is it so? ๐
ยนOr I can switch to Xorg with some other problems ๐

(yep, minus infinity) points for development โ you literally can't develop there, so the onlyยน way is to fall back to Fedora 35 from 37 just to be able to work.No software and support of any non-basic or non-popular hardware on Linux along with small community and development teams. 7/10 for Catch me if you can (2002)
Long (2 hrs) #crime #drama, #true_story_line with #cool_actors. Ever #changing_events and ambience along with unexpected #happy_end. Covers (actual, btw) #problems of #family and #trust. Almost #lite, but I wouldn't call it the background one

โ Post for everyone asking me why I hate Telegram. If you haven't noticed yet, some time ago I made @Lifebox_Robot (still in beta version) that maintains a social credits system (itโs a bit broken now) and asks people to "rate today," then gathers statistics. To do so, every day at 21:00, the bot creates a poll for the day and populates it in all the groups it has access to. Telegram is cool; we can have such functionality here, but where else would I write the code like the one below? Nowhere.
Have you ever noticed disappearing avatars on reactions? Slow internet, maybe? No, messed up reaction representation in the API. Also, albums don't exist here โ they are just grouped lists of messages that are impossible to handle effectively. Or take message editing that asks the bot to re-send a keyboard. Why? Because it disappears. How would you react if I told you that I can send messages to public groups without joining them? And I can, thanks to crutches in Replies bot implementation. This list is far from finite.
The owner of Telegram breaks his own rules, thereโs absolutely no technical support, moderation algorithms are crap, and every single client is working as a piece of shit. ยซNoooooo consistency is overrated!!ยป โ go check your lost messages during sync and notifications for already read messages, dummies. Why do we still use it? I don't know.
Fuck you, Pavel.

Came back to Chrome after a ~year with Firefox
So far, cons:
โข Small header bar โ small buttons
โข In Firefox you can create tabs by middle-clicking title bar, here you can't
โข No one-letter hotkeys (RMC + Q for DevTools in Firefox)
โข DevTools are not that convenient (mostly using Console and Network)
โข No JSON preview (rendered as a plain text)
โข No dark mode๐คฌ โ only "sync with OS" option that does not work on Ubuntu 22 I'm using rn. At least I managed to make DevTools dark via it's own settings
โข Icons are clipped and sometimes are loosing background (e.g. GitHub icons in Firefox always have white background)
โข Tabs opened via "Open in new tab" don't open automatically
Some pros for decency:
โข All the web "standards" are supported (how unexpected๐คช )
โข Groups of tabs
โข Profiles (Firefox has too, but it's much more obvious and better here)
โข DevTools Inspect tool does not move focus on the main window on click
Otherwise experience is pretty much the same (websites are websites lol)
P.S. Chrome seems to support xdg portals now (108.0.5359.124) *happy penguin sounds*

Remember failed ThinkPad X1 Fold, a try to revive dual-screens with Plus Gen 3 and overpriced Zenbook 17 Fold? Meet Yoga Book 19i โ next generation dual-screen laptop from CES-2023 starting at 2100$. So far looks like a balance between Fold and DUO Zenbooks โ theoretically can run Linux (as DUO) but has 2x13.3" total display area remaining pretty flexible (as Fold) with a key difference in price.
Waiting for June to look at final prices and will-it-linux reviews, otherwise it looks like my next laptop๐คช
P.S. Full specs and other CES23 stuff from Lenovo
P.P.S. Pics stolen from Luke Larsen
