Безопасность членов нашей команды по всему миру, а также постоянная поддержка и предоставление услуг нашим клиентам - приоритеты Exadel. В свете последних событий в Украине мы делаем все возможное, чтобы гарантировать безопасность наших людей и непрерывность работы.

At Exadel, our main priorities are the safety of our team members throughout the world and the continued support and delivery for our clients. In light of the recent events in Ukraine, we are doing everything we can to guarantee the safety of our people and the continuity of our work.
We began preparing for the possibility of this event some time ago and enabled plans for employee (family) relocation options to safer regions within Ukraine and in neighboring countries. We’re adjusting our plans to assist our team members' evacuation in the coming days, as circumstances require.
Currently, Exadel is fully operational and continues to deliver on all obligations to our clients and partners that may be working with teams in the region.
Additionally, we are looking at enabling funding support for our teams and all those that remain vulnerable during this conflict. Our hearts go out to all those affected by this crisis, and we're hoping for a quick and peaceful resolution.

🏢 The 1st Polish office of Exadel appeared in Szczecin at the Technopark Pomerania facility. It is a pleasant working place with a stunning park and a large parking lot nearby.
🏢 Warsaw office is in the heart of the city on Emilii Plater Street, where employees work in a contemporary high-rise with open-concept space.
🏢 Our office in Białystok occupies the Białystok Science and Technology Park, a meeting place of other fast-growing IT companies. The place has its own atmosphere of diligence, science and technology.

🎙️ Опыт JS community
JS community образовалось летом 2017 года и успело дорасти до 133 участников. На тот момент в community было примерно 50% разработчиков уровня Senior и выше, поэтому менее опытным ребятам было чему поучиться.
🙇♀️ Яна Ярошевич была JS Community Lead, и благодаря ее энергии мы запустили много активностей: организовывали тренинги, делились презентациями по актуальным темам, вместе смотрели онлайн конференции и обсуждали их.
☕ Два раза в неделю мы собирались на “Coffee JS” ‒ митапы. Накануне мы определялись с темой, по очереди готовились и презентовали информацию с последующим обсуждением.
📚 Мы организовали внутреннюю электронную библиотеку JS bookshelf, которая постоянно обновляется. Плюс ежемесячная новостная рассылка, которую готовит Андрей Лавренюк, помогает ребятам быть в курсе всех новостей и событий в мире JS.
🌐 Еще у нас есть группа в Skype, где мы делимся кейсами из практики в режиме чата. Туда можно прийти с вопросами и получить дельный совет.
🔗 Особенно хочется отметить телеграм-канал Exadel JS Community. Изначально мы хотели, чтобы он стал своего рода хабом с самыми интересными внутренними и внешними новостями, мини-тасками и другими полезностями.
🎙️ Зачем участвовать в Community
✔️возможность “примерить” на себя новую роль, узнать опыт людей, которые работают с другими технологиями.
✔️активное участие оплачивается овертаймами, поощряется coins в Exadel Store и другими бонусами.
✔️это плюс при прохождении ассессментов и весомая строчка в резюме.
🎙️ Что дальше?
Мы ищем активных и заинтересованных ребят, готовых “двигать” наши идеи и воплощать в жизнь задуманное. Мы планируем организовывать митапы и конференции с привлечением внешних спикеров, запустить JS радио в формате подкастов. Было бы здорово приглашать экспертов, чтобы они делились опытом, рассуждали на актуальные темы. В планах проведение хакатонов, как масштабных, так и в мини формате 🙌

🎙️ JS community activities
The JS community was formed in 2017 and has grown to 133 members. More than 50% of the participants were Senior and Lead Developers, so everybody could benefit from our activities.
Yana Yaroshevich was JS community Lead and initiated plenty of them:
📌 Trainings and presentations on topical issues.
☕ Coffee JS meetups, which took place twice a week. The format entailed short presentations with the following discussions.
📚 Internal library “JS bookshelf” which is being regularly updated.
📰 Monthly newsletter sent by Andrii Lavreniuk.
🌐 Skype group where we share cases in a chat mode.
🔗 Exadel JS Community telegram channel with 165 participants. And we have ambitious plans to bring it to the next level. It will raise awareness about our activities and will help in recruiting talented JS developers.

✔️Participation in community activities is an opportunity to “try on” a new role, to learn the experience of people who work with other technologies.
✔️It is financially rewarded.
✔️Taking part in community life is a prominent line in your CV and a big plus at the assessments.

Now we are looking for active and interested developers who are ready to act on new ideas and bring our plans to life. In addition to the work already done, we really want to organize meetups and conferences with external speakers, launch JS radio through a podcast, hold hackathons, both large-scale and small versions. We’re looking for proactive participants ready to inject new ideas and energy 🙌

🎯 Цель технического интервью на должность Java разработчика – понять, как быстро человек может решать проблемы и оценить технический кругозор кандидата. Всегда учитывается предыдущий опыт и то, как человек решает технические задачи.
🔎 Типичный технический стек на должность Java web-разработчика выглядит так: Core Java, SQL, HTTP, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit. Но всё зависит от вакансии и проекта.
🌒 Junior успешно применяет алгоритмы и структуры данных, знает тех.стек на уровне пользователя. Он получает задачу и решает ее доступными ему инструментами. Самый простой способ попасть в джуны – пройти Sandbox программу в нашей компании. За 2 месяца с менторами можно приобрести все нужные знания, подготовить учебный проект, а в дальнейшем попасть и на коммерческий.
🌓 Middle владеет стеком на более глубоком уровне. При получении задачи он может предложить несколько вариантов решения и сказать, что в ней не так. Мы ожидаем понимания development workflow, дизайна архитектуры ПО. Здесь уже важен опыт.
🌔 Senior должен разбираться в internals. Он способен решить проблему не только несколькими способами, но иногда и аргументировать, почему конкретно определенная задача не нужна. Этот уровень подразумевает глубокое понимание типичных проблем и путей их решения. Senior developer знает паттерны и принципы построения ПО, устройство веб-приложений, понимает принципы работы сети и многопоточных приложений.

🔎 A typical tech stack for a Java web developer includes Core Java, SQL, HTTP, Spring, Hibernate, and JUnit, but a lot depends on the specific position and the project.
🌒 A junior developer can successfully apply algorithms and data structures and knows the technical stack at a user level. The easiest way to get this position is to undergo a Sandbox program at Exadel. You’ll have 2 months to learn from mentors and prepare an educational project, in order to get involved in a commercial one later.
🌓 A middle developer understands the stack at a deeper level. After receiving a task, he/she can offer several options to solve it and can explain the issue. This level of work implies an understanding of development workflow and software architecture design. Here, experience is key.
🌔 A senior developer must know the internals. He/she can not only solve a problem in several ways but also explain why a specific task isn’t necessary. They should have a deep understanding of typical problems and ways to solve them. A senior developer knows the patterns software building and web application design and understands the principles of networking and multithreaded applications.
📌 A show of proactivity and enthusiasm, any previous experience working on other projects, and participation in open source are welcome at any level. A good interviewer will make the candidate feel comfortable and will avoid turning the interview into an exam.
