January 2026 security patches have been merged in all our currently supported versions (Android 14-16).

This isn't our standard sort of announcement, but something we need to address.

We've had to let go of a member of the team due to some information coming to light regarding their actions/messages.

I just want to take this time to make sure everyone knows that any member of the team is available to message directly with anything you need to discuss. Please tag whoever you message in one of the channels here to let us know you've messaged so we don't miss your message, or let me know you need a chat and we can message you.

While some of you may be able to put 2 and 2 together, we'd appreciate it if you please didn't discuss things publicly for the wellbeing of those who may have been affected.

To clarify all our currently supported Android versions:

- Android 14 = 9.11
- Android 15 = 10.13
- Android 16 QPR0 = 11.4.3
- Android 16 QPR1 = 11.5.2
- Android 16 QPR2 = 11.6

version 12 is already reserved for Android 17.

Evolution X Android 16 QPR2 booting on POCO F5. Only minor issues remain.

Evolution X Android 16 QPR2 is mostly ready. Builders, try to make some builds!

Retrofit support added and most features from QPR1 were retained.

Some device tree changes are needed for builders. Patching libprotobuf and tinyxml2 in vendor is needed if you have blobs that depend on them (xiaomi ehem) and might even be more if using mediatek.

All Google vendor related files and APKs have been updated and ensured to be the latest prebuilts. Let's see more QPR2 builds!

Android 16 QPR2 also finally fixes the long-standing issue custom ROMs encounter when using the weather clock. Smart space now actually hides itself just like the Pixels!

We've enabled the newer Pixel experience sysconfig files and this is what happened 🫠
