In Latvia's case, an increase of 5 percent points in domestic turnout today was masked by an adaptation in how eligible voters abroad were counted relative to 2019.

#Latvia (European Parliament election): according to the unofficial partial results published by LETA and LTV, the Latvian Russian Union (LKS-NI) is set to lose representation in the European Parliament. The party won 1 seat in 2019 and ran on the list of CP (NI) in the 2024 election. Their sole MEP, Tatjana Ždanoka, was earlier this year accused of spying for Russia.

(GKS-S&D) is set to lose representation in the European Parliament. The party won 1 seat in 2019 while running on the S (S&D) list, and ran on the list of ZZS (~RE|S&D) in the 2024 election.

#Latvia (European Parliament election): according to the unofficial partial results published by LETA and LTV, Latvia First (LPV-ECR) is set to enter the European Parliament for the first time with 1 seat. The party was founded in 2021 and has stated that it intends to join the national-conservative ECR group in the European Parliament, however the National Alliance (NA-ECR) has stated that it will block the party's accession to the ECR group.
