The event marks the 100th Anniversary of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the 150th Anniversary of the first People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs of the USSR, Georgy Chicherin.
Georgy Chicherin played a significant role in establishing the all-union People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs. It was thanks to his efforts that the newly emerged Soviet state managed to get out of political and economic isolation and achieve world recognition.
💼 The main showcase are historical rarities from the collection of Moscow Kremlin Museums – the Red Army uniforms and presents from foreign delegations, which belonged to the legendary commissar.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On November 8 in Moscow, FM Sergey Lavrov will have talks with Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and India will discuss tactics to further promote cooperation in key areas of focus and compare notes on the schedule of upcoming contacts.
The main topics will include:
👉 trade, investment, transport, logistics;
👉 using national currencies in mutual settlements;
👉 prospective energy projects, particularly on the Arctic shelf and in the Russian Far East.
The Ministers will exchange views on topical international issues, focusing on interaction within the #UN, the #SCO, #G20, #BRICS and #RIC.

📖 On September 13-15, 2023 the XV International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature anniversary Congress (#MAPRYAL) «Russian language and literature in a changing world» will be held in St. Petersburg with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The substantive agenda of the upcoming event covers all the main areas of modern Russian studies, from the system-structural description of modern Russian language and issues of sociolinguistics to the methodological aspects of teaching Russian language, translation studies, literary criticism, legal linguistics and media linguistics.

The meeting participants will exchange views on topical international issues, including those on the agenda of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
The Ministers will discuss cooperation in the BRICS format, including opportunities for strengthening coordination in the leading multilateral platforms and implementation of the decisions of the 15th BRICS Summit (Johannesburg, August 22-24). Sergey Lavrov will inform his colleagues about plans for Russia's upcoming BRICS Chairmanship in 2024.

The Olympiad is based on the best astronomical traditions, which brought together world-renowned specialists in the subject.
The event aims to strengthen scientific and educational partnerships with other countries as well as to identify talent in astronomy.
👉 The age of the Olympiad participants must not exceed 18 years, while the minimum age threshold is not established.
Not only captivating tasks but an extensive cultural program comprising lectures, creative and educational workshops and excursions are awaiting the participants. The program is available on the Olympiad website.
❗️Registration lasts until August 10, 2024.
