🇷🇺 In anticipation of the Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 23), a solemn meeting on the occasion of the holiday was held at the Russian Embassy in Jamaica on February 22.
🏛 The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Jamaica Sergey Petrovich congratulated the staff of the diplomatic mission and their families, noting that in a tense international situation caused by destructive actions of the collective West, the Russian Armed Forces reliably ensure the sovereignty and independence of our country and stand guard over its essential national interests.

✨On March, 8, we celebrate the International Women's Day. First celebrated in Russia in 1913, the holiday became widespread worldwide after the Russian Revolution in 1917. In 1966, it became a public holiday and has remained so ever since to recognize women for their achievements.
