Islanders have raised concerns over food supplies and potential shortages following changes in freight delivery.
The fears emerged amid claims Scottish Government-owned ferry operator, CalMac, gave around two weeks notice over planned changes, which sources say could lead to chilled, fresh and frozen food bound for Raasay being left outside rather than inside a cold storage shed on the Isle of Skye before being shipped.
Sources have told the Herald that crucial early deliveries of food would not be accepted on the island if it was left outside.

When Scripture speaks of the trumpet sounding, it's the goes-right-through-you sound of a shofar (ram's horn) or salpinx that's meant, not something you can play a Händelian obbligato on.

"More likely is that the professional conservatives themselves are the ones that gave the kiss of death to the churches’ traditional civic role. Imitating the Left, it is their lobbies and law firms (ostensibly “Christian” or not) that eclipsed the churches and drove them from active public engagement — or gave them the excuse to run away."

Who Neutered the Churches?
Once the heart and soul of American civic life, churches today have been reduced to ciphers. Is this the work of the radical Left who hates them or the feckless Right who gave them the kiss of death?
I attended the same sheikh's lecture of the same title delivered a week later in Rotterdam.
The key lesson for me from his honest Qur'ānic scholarship on this topic is that the fundamental disagreement between thinking scriptural Muslims and thinking scriptural Christians is not even the unitarian-trinitarian question but rather the question of how man is just with God.
Sheikh Imran's persuasion within Islam can accept Trinitarian Christians as brethren, and will castigate other Muslims who are more dismissive of Christians (on the basis that Allāh is seen in the Qur'ān blessing and favouring Rūm, which is Byzantium, when that empire unambiguously worships Jesus as God); and they can accept a position quite close to that of the Old and New Testaments on the question of whether Christ died on the cross; but they reject as abhorrent and repugnant to the character of God the notion that His death paid the vicarious penalty for sinners.

"I wrote to Prince Charles two years ago, urging him to dissociate himself from Klaus Schwab, who is clearly a psychopath. I reminded him that he was the only public figure who had dared [forty years ago] to stand against [architectural] modernism. But he wrote back, 'This is too far gone, and even I can't do anything about it.'"

What was called the "milk run" in my parents' day:
"The business model of McKinsey is wild — it’s a cartel, but the product that they monopolize in order to restrict supply and drive up prices is smart people. McKinsey’s secret sauce is that they have figured out how to strip these smart, young, idealistic people of ethics over the course of a few years and turn them into stone cold killers on behalf of capital ... McKinsey claims that when it advises companies, governments, NGOs, etc. “we don’t do policy, we do execution.” That allows them to work for anyone while sidestepping any questions of conscience or morality."
