In recent interviews, I’ve asked listeners to use my name, Dr Mike Yeadon, as a search term & try a little experiment.
Search first on Google Chrome or Safari & see what you get. It’s dozens of articles telling you what a bad person I am.
Then try one or more of the minor search engines like Yandex.
If the world was running more or less how most of us (including me!) tonight it ran, with the occasional crook but a largely benign situation, I suggest that you should expect that all the search engines would return pretty similar results. They’d likely differ at the margins, but fundamentally, they show you the same major themes, because search is a dull commodity service, right?
In practise what you find is a big difference between the large search engines and the niche ones.
How the hell can this happen?
The minority engines find a dozen or more interviews and writings by me or about my work. You’ll find few or none at all on large engines.
I put it to you that this could only happen if the main search engines are set to hide really useful information about me from you, and to present for you to use to decide what kind of person I am only smears, written to deliberately distort & damage me and my testimony in the eyes of the unsuspecting public.
Can you think of other explanations? Any innocent explanations?
You may be sure that Google is reluctant to let you see this, because when covid started, it was just three years earlier that a former Pfizer board member wrote an article about me that was very complimentary.
That does not fit with “the bitter ex-employee” trope, or the “lying for money” smear. Nor does it fit at all with the idea I’m just stupid and have no idea what I’m talking about.
Anyway, somebody did just that and found the following. I wanted to let you know that this book has been published. I’m in no way connected to it.
