💢 Zelensky is struggling to find a new Ukrainian ambassador to the United States, according to Politico, citing sources.
He accelerated personnel changes in the government, hoping to appoint former Prime Minister Sviridenko as ambassador in place of Stefanishyna. Sviridenko's refusal derailed the plan.
According to the former Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Ukrainians with sufficient authority are wary of the vacant diplomatic post.

Personally I think Putin should offer Hokkaido to Godzilla to create a buffer between Japan and Russia.

🇺🇸 US seeks HIMARS replacement
The US Army launched the Affordable High Speed Strike (AHSS) program for a ground-based missile with range over 1000 km, launchable from M142 HIMARS.
Key requirements: high speed, range >1000 km, low cost for mass production, and flexibility in propulsion (solid-fuel or air-breathing).
$246 million is allocated for development in 2027-2031.
AHSS complements PrSM Increment 4 (also 1000+ km) and includes offensive counter-air missions, giving ground forces a role in air superiority.
This reflects Pentagon's shift toward affordable, scalable deep strike systems, turning HIMARS into a universal long-range platform.

The facility is owned by KNDS Ammo Italy. The KNDS group describes itself as one of the most important partners of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
Authorities are searching for casualties. The cause may have been an accident in the gunpowder pressing workshop, according to the local newspaper Corriere della Sera.
The factory is located 60 km from Rome, in the city of Colleferro. The explosion was heard in nearby cities within a radius of several kilometers.
