We have completed initial analysis of airdrop registrations and unfortunately have unconvered a significant amount of airdrop fraud. While we are fine with the use of VPNs to claim tokens from another country, we are not fine with individuals creating 50 accounts to game the airdrop. Why did you think we won't notice this? This issue was particularly serious with ABDT, AIDR, AINR, and to a lesser extent ANGN.

Afreum's motto is UNITY. CLARITY. EQUITY. We take the idea of equity, and financial inclusion, very seriously. As such, and not to penalize all the people who followed the rules for the airdrop, we have no choice but to implement an SMS/landline verification based distribution. This comes at additional cost to us, and is inconvenient for everyone, but ensures that bad actors do not acquire the bulk of the tokens.

We hope to implement the new distribution mechanism over the next 24 hours.
