⚡️ Starting from December 1, a "covid-passport" for visiting public places will be introduced in Georgia for persons over the age of 18 and foreigners.
The list of places is being updated.

📍 certificate of a full course of vaccination
📍 negative PCR test (72 hours)
📍 negative antigen test (24 hours)
📍 who have had covid-19 and have a document proving it.
The rules will be clarified after the decree is published.

❗️ The Government of Georgia has clarified the list of facilities for visitors to which, from December 1, 2021, the requirement for a "green passport" or negative tests is established.
It includes:
📍food facilities: restaurants, cafes and bars;
📍cinemas and theaters;
📍museums and concert halls;
📍entertainment centers;
📍casinos and gaming business facilities;
📍spa centers and fitness rooms;
📍hotels;
📍cable cars of ski resorts.

You can visit them if you have one of the following documents:
✔️ certificate of a full course of vaccination
✔ negative PCR test (72 hours)
✔ negative antigen test (24 hours)
✔ if you have recovered from Covid-19 and have a document, which proves it.

💉🇬🇪 In the near future, any citizen of Georgia from those previously vaccinated will be able to receive a booster dose.
Booster is the third dose of the vaccine received by a previously vaccinated person. It will be possible to do it 6 months after the second vaccination. The expert council gave permission for this, only some technical aspects are yet to be finished.
❗️It is not yet known whether this rule will apply to foreign citizens and persons with a residence permit.

⚡️ Ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili was taken out of prison No. 12 in Rustavi, where he had been since October 1 and transferred to a prison hospital.
Witnesses who were near the pre-trial detention center said that a helicopter flew into the territory, stood for a while and flew away. Then it landed in Gldani, where the medical institution No. 18 of the penitentiary service is located.
The Penitentiary Service states that "this was done in connection with the deterioration of the prisoner's condition."
❗️ Meanwhile, people are beginning to gather in the center of Tbilisi for a large-scale opposition rally. The central Rustaveli Avenue and Freedom Square have already been blocked.

The leader of the main opposition party "United National Movement" Nika Melia announced that the protesters will not disperse after a large-scale rally in the center of the capital. At the moment, the column has moved to the government office building to prevent Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and ministers from entering it. The entrance is guarded by a cordon of police officers. The actions will take place in other places as well. According to the morning statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police perceive the lockdown as a threat and may use force. ❗️ Meanwhile, Justice Minister Bregadze said that during the emergency transportation from one prison to another, ex-President Saakashvili "inflicted both physical and verbal insults to employees". Interior Ministry officers and water cannons are also on duty near the prison building.

The Immunization Council supported vaccination against covid-19 for children aged 12 to 15 years with Pfizer vaccine. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia.
Children of this age can be vaccinated only with the consent of their parents.
