(Yes, there’s a famous movie version starring Brad Pitt)

📚The Bet by Anton Chekhov
A banker and a lawyer make a bet that completely changes the lawyer’s life. He agrees to spend 15 years in voluntary confinement to prove that life in prison is better than death penalty. A story about freedom, the value of life, and what people really want.
