The resignation of FBI Special Agent Timothy Thibault is a clear admission of wrong-doing and guilt on how the Hunter Biden laptop was handled. He is a legitimately awful person, as the recent FBI whistleblower pointed out.

That being said, this has the obvious appearance of a "noble" sacrifice to keep the heat off of Wray and others. They knew EXACTLY what was on the laptop and at the very least signed off on this entire plan to bury it from the public and avoid prosecuting. It's more likely that they helped orchestrate the plan entirely.

They might try to just blame one "rogue agent" (Thibault) for both the FBI handling of the Hunter Biden laptop and the raid on Trump/Mar-A-Lago. That is better than admitting that MANY of the FBI agents in DC (especially the ones put in place by Obama) are actively working against this country.
