I’m not a financial expert or professional but what I have done is moved anything I have out of traditional banks. I use brokerage houses because they offer free checking and they reimburse me for any ATM fees that I pay since they don’t have their own.
It’s a step away from the federal government and there are only a few of them that are not vulnerable to bail ends/bail outs and freezing client money for federal debt.
It may be too late To move your retirement into gold & silver or this may be a canary in the mine!

I cannot impress enough upon all of you that you should all be doing this, you should all be initiating this, continuing to wait for someone else to start is the same as waiting for a politician to save you or Trump to come in and change everything and say oh I was just kidding.
Trust me when I tell you that in the not too distant future you will be kicking yourself for not taking the initiative and starting on your own with others.
The idea is not to go in the woods and hide forever, but rather to prepare to avoid dependence on these big systems.
