My apologies for not posting but Baby Buckley decided to arrive on Saturday April 4th @ 11:44PM..

I had an entire delivery plan in place, but pretty much all of it ended up being scrapped as things changed quickly and we chose the safest options for both baby and me.

Buckley is just as handsome and as sweet as can possibly be. He is such a calm, quiet little thing already. Unfortunately, he has been admitted to the NICU while they run tests to figure out what is going on. I attempted to breastfeed him three separate times, and each time he turned blue and his oxygen levels dropped significantly. The doctors are monitoring him closely and have assured me multiple times that he is stable.

One small bright spot today — my very first pump produced 30 mL, which made the nurses really excited. I’m so thankful my body is already able to give him something while we work through what’s going on.

Amara is absolutely over the moon about her little brother. She was the very first person to hold him (besides me), the first to give him a binky, and the first to wrap him up in his little blankies. Watching her step into her role as big sister so naturally has been one of the most incredible moments.

Mommy is okay… emotionally a bit of a mess, but physically doing alright. Hearing that Buckley is stable helps, but watching another one of my babies hooked up to machines and medical equipment has been extremely triggering. It brings back so many emotions that are hard to put into words.

We would truly appreciate all the prayers, love, and positive thoughts for Buckley and our family right now. 💙

He is already so deeply loved
