Today, we saw a very sad story around Cronje (the famous dev). He announced a new DEX tool that is very interesting for the DeFi market and called it DERISWAP. Immediately, an anon scammer created a Scam coin he called DERISWAP (DWAP). He sent a huge amount of it to Cronje's ERC20 wallet via the Uniswap sending tool. It looked like Cronje bought it and people who check Cronje's wallet started to massively buy it. The worst part of this fraud is that now no one can sell it because only the buying feature is switched ON.
DeXe Team advice is to look carefully at how the transaction happens in the network and be as careful as possible with it.
When you use the DeXe Wallet-to-wallet copying tool - copying would not happen, because DeXe system would determine that this is not a token purchase but rather a sending of a token.
We are happy that DeXe can save users from such critical (and costly) errors. W2W V.2 - This is going to be a HUGE Update - stay tuned✊
