The title Duke of York created in the Peerage of England in 1385. Aside from the first creation, every time the Dukedom of York has been created it has had only one occupant, that person either inheriting the throne or dying without male heirs. In the late 15th Century, Perkin Warbeck unsuccessfully claimed the Crown by pretending the identity of Richard of Shrewsbury, 1st Duke of York. In the early 18th century, the eldest son of the overthrown King James II & VII and thus Jacobite claimant to the throne, James Francis Edward Stuart, known to his opponents as the Old Pretender, granted the title "Duke of York". And later, Henry became a cardinal in the Catholic church and is thus known as the Cardinal Duke of York. And until now, the generation continues to have a duke, until this moment. He is a man of action and is not afraid to use his own hands to solve problems. A very outgoing person and possesses a great sense of humor. He has a reputation for being wild and free-spirited, and he can often of attractive woman. ৎ୭ ָ࣪💭࿔𝕿he night is getting darker, and we are nearing the end of the show. Here I will present the respected duchess, The Duchess of Queensbury, 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒚𝒏 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒛 𝑬𝒍𝒅𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒖𝒐𝒊𝒓. She was an English socialite in London and a patron of the dramatist John Gay. She served as a Lady of the Bedchamber at the court of Queen Anne. Catherine married Charles Douglas, 3rd Duke of Queensberry, on 1720. That now became part of London and at Queensberry House in Edinburgh.  The duchess was known for her physical beauty and fashion sense. She was a central figure in London high society and was known for her balls and masquerades. According to the standards of her era, she was considered eccentric.  On at least one occasion, she ordered half of her guests to leave her party because she disliked their company. In her later years, she attracted attention for dressing in the same fashion as in her youth, which was considered eccentric, refusing 'to cut and curl my hair like a sheep's head, or wear one of their trolloping sacks'. She was reportedly fond of wearing an apron. According to Oliver Goldsmith, Beau Nash, the master of ceremonies at Bath, once took the apron from her and threw it away, saying that only "Abigails" wore aprons. Years later, The Duchess of Queensbury and Soubise shows the pair engaged in a fencing match.

ৎ୭ ָ࣪💭࿔𝕺ne of the greatest women of all time, I will introduce you, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒂 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒚𝒂, The Duchess of Cleveland. Born into the Villiers family as Barbara Villiers, in the parish of St Margaret's, Westminster, Middlesex, she was the only child. Tall, voluptuous, with masses of brunette hair, slanting, heavy-lidded violet eyes, alabaster skin, and a sensuous, sulky mouth, she was considered to be one of the most beautiful of the Royalist women, but her lack of fortune left her with reduced marriage prospects. She married Roger Palmer, a Roman Catholic, against his family's wishes; his father predicted that she would make him one of the most miserable men in the world. In 1660, she a favorite mistress of the English king Charles II; she bore several of his illegitimate children. She was a woman of exceptional beauty, but others commented on her crude mannerisms. She was known for her dual nature. She was famously extravagant and promiscuous, with a renowned temper that often turned itself on the King when she was displeased. Diarist John Evelyn called her "The Curse of The Nation". She held influence over the King in her position as royal mistress and helped herself to money from the Privy Purse as well as taking bribes from the Spanish and the French, in addition to her sizable allowance from the King. She also participated in politics, combining with the future Cabal Ministry to bring about Clarendon's downfall.

She married the 6th Duke of Roxburghe in 1836.  she was one of Victoria's longest serving ladies-in-waiting, holding the appointment until her death. The Duchess of Roxburghe was, by Queen Victoria's description, a "Dear and valued friend," of hers. There was speculation among the royal household that she would be appointed as Mistress of the Robes. One speculating courtier described her during this time as a good, kind woman, very civil and gracious to everybody, very pretty, and perfectly unexceptional in character. Ultimately she did not receive this role, but she did briefly take up its duties during one of Prime Minister. Victoria honoured Innes-Ker by appointing her as a Lady of the Bedchamber and conferring membership of the Royal Order of Victoria and Albert. In her new role, her duties included accompanying the queen on state occasions. The Duchess returned to the Innes-Ker family of Floors Castle in Roxburghshire. Queen Victoria detoured from her normal route to visit the Duchess at Floors Castle. The London Standard described Victoria as being in deep grief, and her as "One of her Majesty's dearest, most valued, and most devoted friends, for over thirty years a Lady of the Bedchamber".
