Risk: 0/10 in terms of rug, 7/10 in terms of quick return. If it sells out soon, I can see 2x minimum. If it takes longer, it will get there eventually but maybe not quite as quick a turnaround.
This has been a super slow mint - open for approx 1 month now. However it has just this last 24 hours started to gain a LOT of traction. Big names like the owners of Jelly eSports have started to ape in minting 50+ each. Lots of others now following suit and starting to discover exactly what the project is about.
I’ve spent this morning researching them more and finding out more about what they do. They are creating an animated series with the chance for your NFTs to be involved in episodes. Watched a few of the episodes on YouTube this morning and super interesting idea - especially the fact that they are incorporating lots of other projects in the series too (In the first few episodes they have Cets, Okay Bears, Stoned Ape Crew and more..)
Carlos has confirmed that Rascals will be featured in upcoming episodes as well.
Right now a big push behind more minting out as they are giving away a t00b to one minter.
Ultimately, this is going to come down to a “team” play - the team seems solid and the fact they’ve had the mint open for a month so far and STILL building and pushing is a really good sign. My biggest bit of advice is NEVER fade a slow mint. Some of my biggest wins have come from slow mints - what we tend to see is a project doing incredibly well after finally minting out a slow mint.
I personally invest in teams and this seems like a solid punt. I have minted 46 (I’m not suggesting you should do the same - but some exposure to this could be a good idea). A lot will rest on HOW LONG this takes to mint out, but the way speed has been picking up this morning we could see something special happening soon.
As always DYOR and NFA - but I’m definitely finding this more and more interesting the more that I look into it.
