SERBIA-US Relations: According to information received by Euronews from diplomatic sources, the United States of America and Serbia plan to launch a strategic dialogue , which will be officially announced this weekend during the visit of US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma to Belgrade.

This strategic dialogue will cover several key areas, including the economy, trade and investment, energy, environment, technology, media, as well as regional and European political issues.

In addition, cooperation in the field of defense and security, human rights and the rule of law will be discussed.

Richard Verma has already begun his visit to the region, visiting Albania, and plans to visit Pristina and Belgrade.

It is worth noting that Richard Verma is the highest-ranking American official to visit Serbia in recent years.
