North Korean media have published an official report on yesterday's launch of a new intercontinental ballistic missile:

The new Hwasong-19 ICBM flew for 5,156 seconds, covering 1,001.2 km at a maximum altitude of 7,687.5 km, landing in the designated area in the East Sea of Korea. Along with the Hwasong-18 ICBM, the newly completed system is expected to become North Korea's primary defense, strengthening its nuclear deterrent.

The launch marks a record for flight performance and further bolsters North Korea's ICBM arsenal, which now includes both heavy and light ICBMs.
