This is a follow up to our previous post on Olenya Air Base. 4 Tu-95MSs (Bear-H) and 1 An-12 (Cub) can be seen clearly destroyed into pieces.
Also, the airbase housed 1 Il-76 (Candid), 3 An-12 (Cub), and 28 Tu-22M3 (Backfire-C), along with a significant number of Mi-8 (Hip) and Mi-24 (Hind) helicopters.

The planned purchase, carried out under the Orca programme, is considered urgent because the country's navy relies on a single Soviet-made submarine, the Kilo-class ORP Orzel, whose outdated technology and equipment make it incompatible with the requirements of modern naval warfare. Poland plans to receive โฌ20 billion from a newly created EU fund for the purchase of defenses.
๐ฑ๐ป Latvia and๐ฑ๐น Lithuania joins forces to buy multi-purpose attack boats from ๐ซ๐ฎ Finnish shipbuilder Marine Alutech. As part of the Future Multipurpose Attack Craft (CFMAC) program, the shipyard is to develop and deliver combat vessels based on the Watercat M18 armored modular boat design.
Once completed in 2026, Lithuania will incorporate these two multi-purpose attack boats, equipped with Spike NLOS missile launchers and a remote-controlled heavy machine gun, into a coastal defense battalion. It is emphasized that the boats are specially designed for shallow-water operations, allowing them to carry out missions in areas such as the Curonian Spit, half of which belongs to ๐ท๐บ Russia, the second - ๐ฑ๐น Lithuania.
Overall, Lithuania will carry out a phased modernization of its Navy between 2030 and 2037, which will involve the acquisition of new multi-purpose offshore patrol vessels that will be equipped with advanced equipment.
