The Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati states that he hopes a Ceasefire Agreement may be decided on within the coming hours or days.

Lebanese Media is reporting that Hezbollah has informed the Lebanese Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, that they agree to the 60-Day Ceasefire Proposal with Israel, which will see the Demilitarization of Southern Lebanon in accordance with U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701.

According to the Report from MTV, Hezbollah has agreed to Separate the Gaza Front from the Lebanon Front, and Withdraw its Forces and Equipment to the North of the Litani River; while establishing a Demilitarized Zone in the South, controlled by the Lebanese Army.

Prime Minister Mikati states that the Conditions of an Israeli-Hezbollah Ceasefire are Clear, and that they are ready to Deploy the Lebanese Army in Force across Southern Lebanon, in order to ensure the Implementation and Adherence of Non-State Actors with UNSC Resolution 1701.
