Israeli Armor and Mechanized-Infantry made a Significant Advance this morning towards the City of Khiam in Southern Lebanon, roughly 3 Miles from the Israeli Border; with some of the Heaviest Fighting of the Israeli Ground Operation in Lebanon so far, having been reported within the Outskirts of the City. Khiam is considered a Major Stronghold of Hezbollah in the Nabatieh Governorate, and the Site of a Large Battle during the Second Lebanon War in 2006.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFL) has announced that a Rocket, likely fired by Hezbollah from the North, struck its Headquarters earlier today with the Town of Naqoura in Southern Lebanon; resulting in a Fire at a Vehicle Workshop as well as Light Injuries to Eight Austrian Soldiers serving as U.N. Peacekeepers.
