The U.S. has attempted to interdict and seize another sanctioned vessel in the Southern Caribbean, off the coast of Venezuela, officials have told Reuters.

Previous reports that the ship was the Comoros Islands-flagged, Indian-owned tanker M/T DIANCHI, appear to have been false, though the vessel does remain a target of sanctions and is currently operating off the coast of Venezuela.
