Large numbers of U.S. and Syrian Forces are beginning to arrive in and around the Central Syrian city of Palmyra, where an ISIS attacker ambushed and killed three Americans earlier today, with reports of an imminent counter-terrorism operation against sites affiliated with the Islamic State in the Homs Governorate. In addition to ground forces, heavy activity by fighter jets and other military aircraft is also being reported over Palmyra.
