The Trump Administration has issued a notice announcing it is ending Temporary Legal Status (TLS) for between 1,500-3,500 Ethiopians residing in the United States, with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stating in a notice posted in the Federal Register, “After reviewing country conditions and consulting with appropriate U.S. Government agencies, the Secretary determined that Ethiopia no longer continues to meet the conditions for the designation for Temporary Protected Status.”
