A Royal Air Force KC2 “Voyager” Aerial-Refueling Tanker is up from RAF Brize Norton currently heading east over Poland while towing a pair of Eurofighter Typhoons for a combat air patrol mission under NATO Operation Eastern Sentry.

The Netherlands has announced that it is joining France, Germany, Sweden, and Ukraine in deploying counter-drone systems and personnel to Denmark ahead of this week’s European Union Summit in Copenhagen, following over two weeks of unidentified drone sightings over Denmark and Northern Europe.

Marine Corps Base Quantico will be closed to all nonessential personnel on Tuesday between 0400–1200 and the National Museum of the Marine Corps will be closed until at least 1200, as President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth are expected to address an “unprecedented, last-minute gathering” of all roughly 900 Flag Officers, 1-Star Admirals, Generals and higher, throughout the United States Armed Forces, with officers and their staff traveling from across the world for the meeting in Quantico.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has signed a decree granting him additional security powers, including the ability to mobilize armed forces throughout the country and placing public services as well as the national oil industry under military authority, in case the United States decides to launch a military operation against Venezuela.

Stephen Miller, White House Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, is playing a leading role in directing the ongoing strike campaign by the U.S. Air Force and Navy against suspected narco-cartel boats off the coast of Venezuela, with his role at times superseded that of Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, according to The Guardian.

The strikes against boats allegedly carrying narcotics for drug cartels based in Venezuela, which the administration has claimed were necessary because interdiction did not work, have been orchestrated through the White House’s Homeland Security Council (HSC), led by Miller as the Homeland Security Adviser. The HSC, under the direction of Miller, has become its own influential entity in President Donald J. Trump’s second term, a notable departure from previous administrations where it was considered part of the National Security Council (NSC) and ultimately reported to the National Security Advisor (NSA).

Operation Aspides, the European Union’s maritime surveillance and protection mission in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, has announced that all 19 crewmembers onboard the Dutch-flagged cargo ship, M/V Minervagracht, have been rescued, after the ship was reportedly struck on Monday by an anti-ship ballistic missile fired by the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen. 18 of the crew, consisting of Russians, Ukrainians, Filipinos, and Sri Lankans, are onboard vessels under EUNAVFOR Aspides, while one crewmember with serious injuries was transferred to Djibouti. The M/V Minervagracht is now ablaze and adrift in the Gulf of Aden, roughly 128NM to the southeast of Yemen.

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attempts to keep his fragile government together, it has been decided that the Israeli Cabinet will not vote on the entirety of the 20-point comprehensive plan announced yesterday by U.S. President Donald J. Trump side-by-side with Netanyahu, which included the eventual withdrawal of the Israel Defense Force from the Gaza Strip. This comes as Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, alongside other far-right extremists in the government, are threatened to resign, once again, if the 20-point plan is even brought to the government for discussion by Netanyahu.

What makes this even more interesting though, is the fact that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed just last week that Ukraine had received and made operational its first MIM-104 “Patriot” Surface-to-Air Battery from Israel, while stating that they were excepting to receive at least two more systems before the end of 2025.

In a rare moment of cooperation between the United States and Iran, the Trump Administration has deported a planeload of around 100 Iranians back to Iran, via a chartered flight which departed Louisiana on Monday bound for Qatar, before expecting to arrive in Iran sometimes on Tuesday. An official said that Iran’s Foreign Ministry was coordinating the deportees’ return and that they had been given reassurances that they would be safe and would not face any problems; however, among the deportees, which included men and women, some of them couples, many had requested asylum in the U.S. from the Islamic Republic, with them likely to face prison and possibly worse once returned to Iran.

Hegseth is currently under investigation by the Pentagon Inspector General due to his conduct during the Signalgate Controversy in June.
