Enlighten our understandings, fortify our wills, purify our hearts, regulate our movements, and make us attentive to all Thy inspirations. Pardon us, Thou Spirit of grace and mercy! pardon us our constant infidelities, and the shameful insensibility by which we have so often resisted the most touching impulses of grace. We are at length resolved to be no longer rebellious to it, but to obey it with such docility that we may taste those fruits, and en joy those beatitudes, which thy sacred gifts can produce in our souls.
